Palestine Action is a pro-Palestinian protest network, formed in July 2020, that uses direct action tactics to shut down and disrupt multinational arms dealers. The group targets UK-based operations that provide weapons to Israeli occupation forces. Its main targets are UK factories of Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems. In their campaigns, Palestine Actionists have used protest and occupation of premises, which has sometimes resulted in participants being arrested.
On March 19, 2020, revolutionaries from Turkey in their houses in Athens, Greece and at the Solidarity Association with Kurdish and Turkish Political Prisoners, which has been operating for 30 years, were raided in the morning by anti-terror police and Special Operations Police wielding long-barrelled rıfles.Our comrades were dragged along the ground, hit with gun butts, gas bombs were used on them, and they were detained under torture. Veterans of the death fast were dragged on the ground while handcuffed behind their backs. Twenty-six comrades were detained and 11 were arrested.

What happened on 21st March, 2021 was an outpouring of rage against the violence of the police. The crowd fought back after police officers attacked the crowd with batons and riot shields. Pepper spray was used indiscriminately, people were charged with police horses. The protesters fought back, seizing police riot shields, helmets and batons to defend themselves. By the end of the evening several police vehicles had been set on fire.
We need to be ready to defend ourselves against the police, and stand with those facing repression and criminalisation.
On Thursday, February 7th, 2019, at 4:40 in the morning, the evacuation of the squat “Asilo occupato” (“the occupied kindergarten”) in Via Alessandria 12 in Turin, which has been occupied since 1995, began. The evacuation was carried out as part of the “Operazione Scintilla” (“Operation Funke”). Several hundred carabinieri in combat uniforms, police officers and customs officers with machine guns and civil servants not only cleared the house, but also arrested six anarchists, all of whom have since been released (July 2020).
During the night of May 13, 2020, seven anarchists were arrested between Bologna, Milan and Tuscany, five others were required to reside in the municipality of residence and the anarchist documentation space Il Tribolo in Bologna was searched. The repressive operation, called 'Ritrovo', was coordinated by the public prosecutor Stefano Dambruoso and the Carabinieri of the ROS (Raggruppamento Operativo Speciale), who carried out the arrests and searches jointly with the provincial command of the Carabinieri of Bologna.
Following an investigation initiated by the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office and called operation “Bialystok,” seven anarchists were arrested in Italy, Spain and France on June 12, 2020, while the Bencivenga Occupato anarchist squat in Rome and some homes were searched. Two people were placed under house arrest, while five others were detained in prison.

In the run-up to presidential elections and the FIFA World Cup, repressions against antifascists and anarchists started in Russia. In Autumn 2017, 6 people were arrested in Penza; several of them had weapons and explosives planted on them. FSB officers then tortured the antifascists right in the detention facility: they applied naked wires to the activists’ various body parts and turned the electricity on, they beat them up, hanged them upside down.
