Marco was arrested as part of Operation Scripta Manent, and sentenced to 5 years for participation in a “subversive association with terrorist purposes.”

On November 24, 2020, in the bunker room of the prison Le Vallette in Turin the sentence of appeal was issued against 23 anarchists accused in the “Scripta Manent” trial. Marco was acquitted from the charge of “subversive association with the purpose of terrorism and subversion of the democratic order” (that he was sentenced to 5 years for), but sentenced to 1 year and 9 months for “incitement to commit crimes” in relation to “Croce Nera Anarchica” (“Anarchist Black Cross”). He was released in November 2020.
