Amber Smith-Stewart

Amber Smith-Stewart is a 25 year old Nicaraguan- American from Miami Florida. They received a 30 day sentence in federal prison for their participation in tagging fake pregnancy centers in Florida in the wake of the Dobbs (abortion rights) decision (Roe v. Wade being overturned). According to Amber, "Two things turned me into the person I am today, the murder of my mother by the hands of the prison system and the summer of 2020. This is a reminder to always remain ungovernable." 

Stuart Bretherton

Stu is serving a 12 month sentence. He is an organiser, and for 5 years, he’s been involved in all kinds of campaigning from climate justice, to refugee rights, to Palestinian solidarity. His partner is currently expecting their first child.

Calum Lacy

Calum is serving a 12 month sentence. He is originally from San Francisco, and before his arrest, he lived in Edinburgh for four years, where he began his activist career by campaigning on behalf of the staff and students of Edinburgh University. From prison, he says that he doesn’t regret his action, and remains a proud part of the global intifada. 

Caleb Freestone

 Caleb is a 29 year old from Florida who was convicted of tagging the outside of a fake pregnancy crisis center in the wake of the Dobbs (abortion rights) decision (Roe v Wade being overturned). He and his codefendants were originally charged with the FACE Act and faced over 10 years in prison. He was sentenced to 1 year and 1 day in prison in September 2024 for the vandalizing of the South Broward Pregnancy Help Center; the Life Choice Pregnancy Center, and the Heartbeat of Miami Pregnancy Help Medical Clinic.

Jesse Cannon

Jesse Cannon is a militant anti-fascist serving a five-year sentence for two separate cases. The first relates to the defense of his community against far-right and white supremacist groups. The second relates to Cannon’s alleged defense of his community from another credible outside threat to the safety of park attendees during an event at which elders and multiple families with children were present.  

Andrei Marach

Andrey is an ant-fascist and football fan. Earlier Andrey was repeatedly arrested on the administrative cases for participation in the actions and protests of 2020 or preventively.

March 2, 2021 in Brest a number of activists and young people, who were probably on the list of Main Department for Combating Organized Crime as politically unreliable, were detained. During the week Aleksandr Kozlyanko, Andrey Marach, Pavel Shpetny, Nikita Dranets, Daniil Chul’, Aleksey Golovko were detained.
