Kevan Thakrar

Kevan Thakrar was wrongfully sentenced to a lifetime in prison in 2008, and has been fighting for his freedom ever since. He is one of the prolific prisoners in challenging prison conditions, racism and injustice. He has been subjected to severe torture and solitary confinement in the UK’s most highest security prisons – Close Supervision Centres that act as prisons within prisons. He continues to fight for his appeal. He appreciates letters and support via action alerts.

Finn Siebers

Finn was arrested in February 2023 during a forest occupation (Heibo) in Germany. He was held in custody at Leipzig Prison until he was sentenced to three years and six months in prison on August 23, 2023. Finn was not convicted on charges related to the forest occupation, but for multiple counts of arson in a different context.

Lyubov Lizunova

On October 31, 2022, officers of the Chita FSB detained 19-year-old Alexander Snezhkov and 16-year-old Lyubov Lizunova during the graffiti "Death to the regime". As it turned out later, the FSB was more interested in the activities of the guys on the Internet, since they administered the resources of Shugan-25 and 75zlo. Lyuba and Sasha are charged under three articles: 205.2 (public calls to carry out terrorist activities), 214.2 (vandalism) and 280.1 (public calls to carry out actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation).

Aleksandr Snezhkov

On October 31st 2022, two anarchist teenagers from Chita, Russian Far East, a 19 years old Aleksandr Snezhkov and a 16 year old Lyubov Lizunova were arrested for writing a graffiti ”Death to the regime.” They were also suspected of administrating a telegram channel with anarchist and anti-war messages. They were soon released pending trial, but after an unsuccessful attempt to escape, Alexandr Snezhkov was transferred to a remand prison, and Lyubov Lizunova was transferred to home arrest.

Alexey Rozhkov

In May 2025 Alexey was sentenced to 16 years in prison. On May 29th, anti-war activist Alexey Rozhkov, who had fled from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, was extending his temporary registration in his host country. The very next day, early in the morning, security forces broke in to his home. He told Solidarity Zone about his illegal deportation to Russia, the interview is also published in English.

Ruslan Sidiki

In May 2025 Ruslan was sentenced to 29 years in prison. At the end of November, the anarchist Ruslan Sidiki was arrested on suspicion of organising the derailment of a goods train in Ryazan province. On 2 December, the Dorogomilovsky district court in Moscow sent Ruslan to pretrial detention.

Acts of railway sabotage are now quite common in Russia. Partisans use these to block the delivery of military supplies to the armed forces operating on Ukrainian territory.

Hridindu Roychowdhury

Hridindu Roychowdhury is an anarchist from Madison, Wisconcin who was sentenced to 90 months in federal prison for attacking a building with a Molotov cocktail in the wake of the leak of the draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overruling Roe v. Wade.

Ross Smith

Solidarity with Ross Smith imprisoned in UK

Ross Smith is imprisoned in the long-term high security prison HMP Garth for possession of a Skorpion submachine gun and a hand grenade. By the time Ross gets out he will have done 22 years in prison. Ross would like to hear from you and receive postcards, letters and books. He is part of the counter-culture and likes anarchist ideas, anti-art/Dada, sound-systems, nihilism, ecology and the natural world. Ross likes training and is into fitness. Ross is from North Wales.
