Dmitry is an anarchist from Gomel. He is interested in history and anthropology, and always visits museums to discover the past and learn about other cultures. Traveling and adventures are his element. He also interested in music. He was arrested on the night of 28-29 October 2020 close to Ukrainian border by Belarusian border guards along with Sergey Romanov, Dmitry Dubovski and Igor Olinevich. He was charged with terrorism and illegal possession of firearms. According to the prosecutors office, he and his comrades organized several arson attacks in Soligorsk and Mozyr against state institutions.

On 22 December 2021, he was sentenced to 19 years in prison. 

Life in Prison

At the end of January 2024, a criminal case under Article 411 of the Criminal Code (malicious disobedience to the demands of the colony administration) was opened against the anarchist. On 26 April Judge Siarhei Kukhotskovalets convicted Dzmitry and added nine months of imprisonment to the main term of 19 years in the colony. Dmitry will be kept in pre-trial detention centre-6 in Baranavičy until the hearing of the appeal.
